2. Step 2: Work section by section, starting at the roots. Make sure each section is fully saturated with color – especially with pastels, where even coverage is key.
3. Step 3: Rub the color between your hands until it reaches a creamy consistency. Full saturation is crucial for an even color result.
4. Step 4: Let the color develop. Let it sit for 15-30 minutes. For a more intense color, you can leave it on for 45-60 minutes.
5. Step 5: Rinse the color with cold water to close the hair cuticle and prevent color fading. Use a high pressure shower head and rinse until the water runs clear.
